The Personnel Committee exists for the purpose of establishing and implementing personnel policies and practices for all staff and volunteers of the church. It is the focal point of all human resources to the church by providing advice and counsel to the Pastors and Staff in the areas of salary administration, employee training, employee benefits, employee safety, and all issues relating to employment.

Volunteer Committee Members:
Participate in the ongoing assessment of staff needs, work with other teams and committees in anticipating future personnel needs, work to ensure that the employment practices and policies of the church comply with state and federal guidelines, and endeavor to ensure competitive compensation for staff.
- Time commitment: 2 hours per month at a meeting; additional time may be involved when working on specific project
- Skills needed: A desire to serve God by working to provide a good working environment for the staff of LCPC. Knowledge of/experience in human resources management is desirable but not necessary. Volunteers are asked to write an application letter to the Personnel Committee.
