(Parents of Kindergarten through 4th grade)
Wednesdays, 9:30 – 11:30 a.m., Teacher: Jan Roberts
This weekly class provides a forum for child development information, discussion, support and sharing of ideas. Age-relevant issues such as: school concerns, building self-esteem, discipline, teaching responsibility, dealing with fear, scheduled vs. free time for children, and building a strong family unit will be discussed in large and small groups settings. Creative and fun ideas for family traditions and celebrations will be included.
30 weeks – $370/year + $70 non-refundable registration fee - “TWEENERS”
(Parents of 5th – 8th graders)

Wednesdays, 9:30-11:30 a.m., Teacher: Cary Horne
Large and small group discussions relating to pre-adolescent issues such as peer relationships, family communication, puberty and school adjustments. Learn how to change family traditions to adjust to adolescence, but still maintain family unity.
28 weeks – $350/year + $70 non-refundable registration fee) - PARENTING TEENS
(Parents of 9th – 12th graders)

This lively class creates opportunity for support and sharing concerning teen issues such as: peer relationships, adolescent identity, family communication, building trust, dating, driving, college preparation, and learning to “let go”.
28 weeks, $350/year + $70 non-refundable registration fee)
2012-13 General Information
- No Tuition increase
- All classes are under $13 per class!
- Cost for each parent/child class (32 weeks): $385/year + $70 non-refundable registration fee
- If you have more than one child in the same parent/child class (twins, triplets or siblings), the class price is an additional $100/child/year or $50/child/semester. Parents interested in registering multiple children for the same class should call or visit the office to register in order to receive the new reduced cost of $50/child/semester.
- DISCUSSION TIME ONLY – 1/2 Tuition + $70 non-refundable registration fee; Offered for Toddlers, Two’s, Threes/Four’s and Family Class.
- Cost for parent-only PEK classes (30 weeks): $370/year + $70 non-refundable registration fee
- Cost for parent-only Tweeners and Teens classes (28 weeks): $350/year + $70 non-refundable registration fee
- You may pay by semester— For the parent-child classes: 1st semester: $265 ($195 + $70), 2nd semester: $190 (late fee of $25 charged after due date for 2nd semester installment January 15, 2012.) For parent-0nly PEK classes, 1st semester is $185 + $70 non-refundable registration fee. For parent-only Tweeners and Teens classes, 1st semester only is $175 + $70 non-refundable registration fee.
- Please read birth dates carefully so that you will be in the developmentally-appropriate class.
- For optimum benefit from this program, parents are expected to attend class regularly.
- Classes may be canceled due to insufficient enrollment or as necessary. Teacher assignments may change.

- A wait list is created when registering for a class that is currently full. You will be contacted in the order of the wait list as openings become available.

Parent Education Refund Policy
Effective for 2012-13 school year
All requests for refunds must be in writing and submitted to the Parent Education Administrative Assistant. Postmarks will determine refund category for mailed requests.
- All Fall Semester Classes -
Prior to start date of first class: 100% refund minus registration fee. From start date of first class until October 15th: 50% refund minus registration fee. After October 15th: No refunds for 1st semester. - For Spring Babies and Second Semester Classes –
Prior to start date of first class: 100% refund minus registration fee. From start date of first class until March 15th: 50% refund minus registration fee. After March 15th: No refunds
