SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Tiny Explorers (0 – 2 years)
Our nursery program has 2 rooms: one for infants and one for toddlers and two-year-olds. Both rooms are staffed with paid staff members and volunteer adults and teens. All staff (volunteer and paid) have passed background checks and receive training in child care and safety. All rooms meet strict state licensing requirements for safety and are age appropriate. Please contact us if you would like to take a tour of the nursery any Sunday morning.
Story Seekers (3 years – K)
Story Seekers is our Sunday morning program for children 3-years-old through Kindergarten. The classes are led by a group of adults who provide a variety of activities related to the Bible story for the day.
In Story Seekers your children will learn Bible stories, make crafts, sing songs, and work on activity pages related to the lesson. Children are assigned to a class based on their ages. As a way to build relationships between children that will coincide with their schooling, the cut-off date for the class is September 1st, the same as local public school districts. We promote children to the next class each summer.
Testament Travelers (1st – 6th grade) – 9:25 and 11:00 am services
After attending worship service with their parents for the first 10 or 15 minutes, children are dismissed to Testament Travelers. Generally, we all meet together, 1st-6th grade in room 203 for announcements, Bible memory verse and music. Then we spilt up by grade level for the Bible story, activities and discussion. There is a chart outside room 206 that has their pick up locations and we try to keep that fairly consistent.
