WHAT Bring any household items, furniture or clothing to donate to the Union Rescue Mission Thrift Store.   These items help support programs that serve homeless men and women in Los Angeles.

WHERE Outside Demarest Family Life Center at La Canada Presbyterian Church, 626 Foothill Blvd.  in La Canada.
WHO Multi-generational activity where all ages are welcome.
WHAT Pack bags of hand sanitizer, socks, granola bars and tissues that will be given out on Wednesday when Brothers’ Helpers serves dinner in downtown LA to the homeless and poor.

WHAT Sometimes the most important way we can serve is prayer. Our global outreach partners regularly ask us to pray for specific things about their ministry. Come to hear those prayer requests and then pray for them.

•Shift 1:  2:45-5:30pm

WHERE Fellowship Hall in La Canada Presbyterian Church, 626 Foothill Blvd in La Canada.
WHO Designed for families with children 5 years through high school to serve together. High school and junior high students can also serve on their own.
WHAT Come ready to play games and eat dinner with foster children supported by our local outreach partner Child SHARE and give their parents a night out.

REGISTER   Dinner for Homeless at Union Rescue Mission

WHO Adults and children 12 years and older.
WHAT Join a team to serve dinner to homeless men and women in downtown LA. You’ll arrive to get an orientation by kitchen staff (all grads of URM’s homeless rehabilitation program) and then greet and serve dinner to the clients.

(FULL)     Baby Shower for Pregnant Women in Crisis at Elizabeth House

WHEN Sunday, May 1, 3-5pm
WHERE Elizabeth House: 760 Santa Barbara St, Pasadena
WHO Women and children of any age. Younger children can play on playground in backyard where baby shower is located.
WHAT Join a group of women to shower a mom-to-be with gifts and blessings at this home for pregnant women in crisis

• Purchase a gift on the Target registry (email Nancy for registry info)
• Provide a Target gift card
• Food: tray of fruit, plate of cookies, veggie tray, drinks
• Used items: Bring your gently used baby clothes, toys, swings, strollers, new diapers, etc. to Elizabeth House on the date of the shower.  These items will be used for all the women at the house.

WHAT Serve dinner to women recovering from addiction and hear their stories of hope over dinner and at chapel.
