Vision Trip to India with Sean Whiting of Covenant Children’s Home

November 2017 (Tentatively scheduled; dates will be determined by participants)

One of our global mission partners, Covenant Children’s Homes, leads Vision Trips every spring and fall to India to witness the work God is doing in rural, underdeveloped India.  CCH provides loving, Christian homes to orphaned or abandoned children who would otherwise stop schooling early and become vulnerable to trafficking, child labor and childhood marriage.  LCPC sponsors one of these homes, where 5 boys live with a pastor and his family and are given a second chance at family, quality education and discipleship by the pastor and congregation.

Would you be interested to visit India, the children’s home LCPC sponsors and discover how God is working in far away lands with very little history of Christianity?  Sean Whiting, LCPC member, will lead a team this coming November.  Cost will be approximately $3,000 which includes flight from Los Angeles, lodging and a combination of Western-style and Indian meals.

Mission Trip to Greece with Jon Barstad, Jr. of YWAM

March 2018 (Tentatively scheduled; dates will be determined by participants some time between March 13 and March 28)

Presbyterian Disaster Assistance is an organization akin to Red Cross.  They are known for sticking around long after other disaster relief agencies are gone.  On this trip, you will help provide disaster clean up and rebuilding in areas such as post-hurricane Baton Rouge, LA.

Dominican Republic for Medical Professionals

Late June 2018 (Tentatively scheduled; dates will be determined by participants)

Doctors, nurses and dentists are needed to see patients in a health clinic in the Dominican Republic.  You will partner with La Crescenta Presbyterian Church who has gone down to the Dominican Republic for decades.

Work Trip to Casa de la Esperanza Orphanage in Tijuana

4th of July Weekend 2018 (TBD either the weekend before or after the 4th which is on a Wednesday)

The Casa is home to 65 children ranging in age from pre-school through high school.  Each year LCPC families spend the 4th of July weekend camping together and working on the orphanage buildings. Projects are available for all ages and skill levels!  We’ve had kids as young as 4 and adults as old as 80 join in.  You will bring a tent or RV, sleeping bags, cooler, water, food to grill for your family unit, and appetizers or side dishes to share.

If God has been nudging you to serve globally, I’d love to talk to you and see where God is leading!  Prayerfully consider the following opportunities, then let me know if you’d like to explore any of them over coffee or a phone conversation.
