We invite you to join us the second Tuesday of each month, 6:30-8:00PM in Cook Prayer Chapel for a time of quiet reflection and prayer as we practice the ancient art of Lectio Divina. This traditional practice focuses attention on Scripture in a distinctive way. We read or listen to a passage four times, with several minutes of silence between each reading. Each reading is accompanied by invitations to listen to the passage differently; during the process, one is drawn progressively deeper into the passage and the experience of prayer. Spiritual practices such as Lectio Divina can open us up to how God’s Holy Spirit wants to work in and through our lives.
