Covid testing at LCPC
Dear LCPC,
The Omicron strain of COVID-19 has struck many people in L.A. County, across the U.S. and around the world. To help each of us manage the situation efficiently, we have arranged for the Breakthrough Genomics test lab, owned by LCPC attendees Laura and John Buda, to collect samples and perform confidential COVID-19 PCR Saliva Direct tests for the LCPC congregation, family members, friends and the Foothill communities. Please invite others to come for testing. These tests are among the most accurate and sensitive COVID-19 tests.
Lab personnel will be present outside of Fellowship Hall Friday, February 11, 9 AM - 11AM, to collect saliva samples. The sample collection is non-invasive; all that is required is for you to spit/dribble into a test tube, which is then sealed, labeled and bagged. Lab personnel will courier the samples to the lab. Results will be provided directly and confidentially to each person late Friday or early Saturday morning. Please note that LCPC will NOT have access to your test results. These can only be obtained through the lab.
There are no out-of-pocket costs for COVID-19 testing at a testing site. An insured person can get a COVID-19 test when needed by any provider, in or out of their health plan network, at no cost. If you’re uninsured, the government pays for your test.
