Sunrise Service led by Youth Ministry at Memorial Park.
The 8:00 am & 9:30am traditional service is held in our sanctuary, led by our pastoral team, and includes a short message tailored for children. Music consists of a blend of ancient, traditional and contemporary hymns, choral anthems and instrumental music and is led by the Chancel Choir, organ/piano plus orchestra and jazz band and other instrumental ensembles matched to the style of the day’s music. In any given month the style of music will range from classical to spirituals to ethnic to jazz to contemporary in a wide range, with themes always tied to the message of the Word and the liturgy of the day.
Family-friendly overflow in Fellowship Hall at 9:30am & 11:00am with an Easter egg hunt to follow!
The 11:00am contemporary service is held in our Worship Arts Center (WAC), led by our pastoral team, and includes a short message tailored for children. Music features a worship band with guitars, drums, and vocals leading contemporary and timeless praise and worship songs.
Don’t forget to bring a flower from your garden to decorate our outside cross by the children’s statue!
We once again have the opportunity to help provide Art Therapy Easter Baskets for refugee and immigrant children as part of World Relief’s Little Brushstrokes—Refugee Kids Art Program event. Bring an Easter basket (filled with candy, small toys, coloring books, etc.) and/or art supplies to worship on Easter Sunday (including Sunrise service at Memorial Park). The art supplies (especially 8x10in, 8x8in, or 11x14in canvases and Super Value Acrylic Paint Sets by Craft Smart® ) can be part of the Easter basket or separate. These can also be brought to the church office during the week any time before Wednesday, April 12.
