This 4-week evening class focuses on 4 compelling issues facing many youth today and would be insightful for adults of all ages. This class will meet in-person AND livestreamed.

Topics will include:

2/2 — Fentanyl and Addiction (understanding the prevalence, precautions, and resources) with Vicki Rekedal

2/9 — Mental Health (understanding the signs, symptoms, and resources) with a panel of experts

2/16 — Racial Reconciliation (understanding the Biblical foundation to promote unity through an apolitical lens) with Sandy Lee Schaupp

2/23 — Technology (understanding the concerns, precautions, and steps to managing technology well) with Sloan Walsh

Facilitated by Paula Giboney, the class will meet in LCPC’s Worship Arts Center (in-person OR livestreamed). Programs at no cost are also available for 4th – 12th graders that meet from 3-9 pm as part of LCPC’s Family Ministries’ MERGE program. Childcare for infants – 3rd grade is also available upon request.

LCPC Parent Ed is offering this class in partnership with other LCPC Ministries for a special discounted rate of $40 (with tuition waivers available if price is prohibitive).
