LIVE! IN-PERSON! INSIDE!

Sanctuary (9AM) & Worship Arts Center (10:30)

Our Worship Arts Director, Jack Lantz, attended the LA County Telebriefing call regarding "Houses of Worship" on April 30. The call reiterated the requirements for:
  • Capacity limits – 50% currently
  • Contact tracing registration
  • Health screening on arrival – verbal affirmation after reviewing the LAC form
  • Mask wearing
  • Six-foot social distancing between worshipping families/pods
  • Twelve foot distance between speakers/choir singers and the congregation
  • No congregational singing – soft humming allowed, but not encouraged
  • No food service
  • Strong recommendation to continue outside worship and not move inside
  • Only fully vaccinated people may remove their masks to lead worship/meetings
LCPC continues to honor these recommendations in an effort to err on the side of caution for the safety of our congregants.

So ... this means that we will continue to ask worshippers to pre-register via the links provided above. You will be checked in for contact tracing and health screening at the entrance to the Sanctuary / Worship Arts Center when you arrive for worship. Note above ... masks, etc., required. Ushers will seat you in a social distancing arrangement.

(To avoid confusion and have a more accurate count, we ask that you pre-register each Sunday you are attending.)

The capacity for the Sanctuary is around 105 ... with about 25 "overflow with screens" in the Sanctuary narthex.

The capacity for the Worship Arts Center is around 70 ... with "overflow with screens" in the sanctuary and narthex of up to 130.

If you have not registered to attend by 8PM Saturday night, or if capacity has been reached by the time you try to register, you may still come as a "walk-up" Sunday morning. We can register you at the door, and then do everything we can to assist you to a seat where available. However, because we do not know at this point how many people will pre-register or how many people will "walk-up," there is a (we believe - slight) possibility that we may reach our capacity and have no seating available.

Please come on time to the service in order for us to make sure we have a place for you. Once the service begins, those registering at the door will be allowed to fill in those seats that are not yet occupied. We are hoping that, including overflow seating, there will be a place for everyone who wishes to attend in person.

Children will remain in worship seated with their adult family members until the CONCLUSION of our "Time For Young Christians" and then be dismissed to go to class in Fellowship Hall with our Children's Ministry Leaders.

Youth will remain in worship until they are dismissed with our Youth Ministry Leaders.

Please know that we are sincerely doing our best to "re-open" to IN PERSON, INSIDE worship as soon as possible while adjusting to the governmental safety guidelines. As is the case with almost any "new" or "renewed" activity, we will not do this "perfectly"! So we ask for your prayers and grace as we work together to return safely to our full capacity of worship at LCPC.

REMEMBER ... we will also continue LIVE STREAMING of BOTH worship services ... 9AM AND 10:30 via live.lacanadapc.org.

"LORD ... we ask your mercy and help, too!"

Our strong hope is to "See you soon" at LCPC!

Sincerely in Christ,
LCPC Pastors & Staff
