LCPC is committed to sending financial resources and volunteers to support a variety of global partners.
Adopt a Global Outreach Partner
You can adopt a specific global partner. Receive email updates and prayer letters. Learn about their ministry and pray for them during your small group. You can even Skype with them occasionally. Our partners are more than willing to accommodate a Skype phone call with your group. They would also be happy to meet with you when they are in town and tell you about their exciting ministries face-to-face.
Meet with Global Partners when they visit La Canada
You can invite Global Partners to meet with your family or small group when they are in town. LCPC’s missionary friends are always looking to make connections with our members. Small groups can provide hospitality to these partners and learn about the important and exciting work they do across the world.
Pray for our Global Partners.
Use the list below of our global partners to guide your prayers.
Providing love and shelter to orphans in Tijuana
Home to more than 70 children, this orphanage is entirely dependent upon the voluntary support of individuals and churches. La Cañada Presbyterian Church has been involved with the orphanage for more than 15 years, sending work groups to do repairs on the buildings and spend time with the children.
Every 4th of July weekend, families camp together on the orphanage grounds and spend the days working on maintenance projects and playing with the orphanage kids. Over the years, LCPC work groups have replaced roofs, doors and windows, installed insulation and drywall, remodeled a kitchen, installed a chain link fence, made electrical and lighting improvements, and accomplished innumerable painting and odd jobs. You can join the group any 4th of July weekend.

Provide dignity for low-caste Christian Indian children
Covenant Children’s Homes create an atmosphere of love and belonging where orphaned or abandoned children live in a pastor’s home, cared for daily by the pastor’s immediate family and nurtured by the entire church as they grow up. As a result, they gain a solid foundation emotionally, physically and spiritually and break the cycle of poverty.
A Covenant Children’s Home includes:
- A church home with parents – a local pastor and his family.
- A family-style living environment with five – ten brothers or sisters.
- An English speaking education in order to learn their way out of poverty.
- Daily discipleship and worship, growing in a relationship with God.
Sean and Paige Whiting, missionaries with this organization, have been involved at LCPC since Sean grew up here.
