Main duties: greeting, helping with the offering, and going through the Sanctuary or Worship Arts Center following the service collecting the red friendship pads. You still get to participate in the worship service. You volunteer when you know it fits your schedule (once a month or once every two months). Usher assignments are taken from the pool of volunteers who are available for each Sunday.
